The first question almost every homeowner asks us is a fair one. What is this going to cost. The honest answer is that it depends on the size of your kitchen, the number of units and the finish you choose, but the ranges below are what most Dublin kitchens fall into.
Typical price bands
Small kitchens are usually between €700 and €1000. Medium kitchens are between €1250 and €1400. Large kitchens are between €1400 and €2000. Very large kitchens run from €2000 to €3000.
Those figures cover the full job, not just the spraying. Masking, preparation, primer, coats, curing time and putting your kitchen back together are all part of it.
What moves the price
- The number of doors, drawer fronts and end panels rather than the floor area
- How much preparation the existing surfaces need before priming
- Whether you want one colour or two, for example a different shade on the island
- Extras such as a spray granite worktop finish or fitting handles you supply
How it compares to a new kitchen
A replacement kitchen in Dublin runs into many thousands before you count the fitting, the disruption and the waste going to landfill. A respray keeps the carcasses you already own, changes everything you actually see, and is usually finished in 1 to 3 days.
If your units are structurally sound and you simply do not like the colour any more, a respray is the cost effective choice.
