Overview

Churchtown Steel Engineering supplies structural steel to builders, engineers and architects across Dublin and Leinster. We work from engineer drawings, mill certified steel, and deliver members ready to install on site.

Every fabrication is traced from mill certificate through cutting, drilling, welding and finishing. Our welders are coded, our processes are audited under ISO 9001, and every structural member ships with the paperwork building control expects.

The workshop handles single RSJs for a kitchen extension right up to full portal frames for commercial units. We work in S275 and S355 grades, cut and drill in house, and coat with red oxide primer, intumescent paint or hot dip galvanising depending on the specification.

You get a fabricator that reads drawings properly, calls out clashes before steel is cut, and delivers on the date agreed.

Common questions.

Execution class 3 is the certification level required for most structural steelwork in habitable buildings. It covers welder qualifications, traceability of steel, and factory production controls. If your engineer specifies structural steel, EXC3 is what building control expects to see.

Standard residential steelwork is one to two weeks from order to delivery. Larger commercial fabrications are quoted with a firm programme date.
